RIP Bob Arihood

Here is my friend, mentor and hero, Bob Arihood, doing what he did, which was to capture the the city - primarily the East Village - at its best and worst...from tranquil days in Tompkins Square Park to civil unrest, Bob was there.

I'm too shocked and sad right now to say much else, so there will be more later. For now, I hope you have found peace, Bob. You were an inspiration will be sorely missed.

  1. I am so sad about Bob. He was one of those one of a million guys that I feel blessed to have met, much less call a friend. What a loss. I couldn't be much sadder. Goodbye Bob, you were such a great guy.

  2. I'm with you Marty. I'm still at a loss for words and keep thinking this is a mistake. The streets feel that much emptier tonight. Even Ed cried.

  4. Right where you'd expect to find Bob — in the middle of the action. I hope that he knows how much people appreciated his work.
