Just days of lolling around and remembering who I am.c.o. moedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04842423601233807880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-428509001430417120.post-3676220628146236072010-08-25T16:32:11.691-04:002010-08-25T16:32:11.691-04:00I know what you mean. The World Cup seems like ages ago...

I have no tolerance for humidity - it turns me into a grumpy slug - so I kept waiting and waiting for the 'real' summer weather to arrive so I could enjoy it. It didn't even dawn on me that that WAS summer. I seemed to spend most of it indoors - hot weather can be as limiting as cold - actually, maybe it's the Canadian in me, but I'll take cold anytime over what we had just now.

But, it ain't over yet . . . temperature due to go up into the 80's, maybe high 80's later this week. At least it cools down at night.

T.City Of Strangershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12158677428956744517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-428509001430417120.post-458877806793060232010-08-25T16:23:39.974-04:002010-08-25T16:23:39.974-04:00This summer seems to have zipped by like no other....This summer seems to have zipped by like no other. I haven't done those usual summer things that I do at least once, like go to Coney Island... a Yankees game... Yet, I think back on a few things that happened, like the month-long World Cup and all those soccer fans in the neighborhood, and it seems like 10 years ago...EV Grievehttp://evgrieve.comnoreply@blogger.com
