Hawk days of summer
The heat and humidity this last weekend clobbered me, but it seemed to have little effect on the Tompkins Square hawk fledglings, who frolicked in the park with glee.
What heat wave?
Time to swoop!
The hawks played with sticks in the grass, chased after squirrels, and swooped back and forth across the park until my head spun. It's exciting to see them own the park.
