Independence Days
I had so much fun with the Tompkins Square hawks on the 4th of July, I took a lot of photos. One of the things I love about these birds is the way they exist among us, going about their business despite the throngs of people in the park. Observing the hawks in the city is a truly unique experience.
The fledglings are becoming more independent with each passing day and have no problem entertaining themselves.
