Fire on East 7th Street
A fire broke out in a tenement on 7th Street and Avenue C this afternoon. FDNY was on the scene. At the time of posting, I don't have any details on the fire.

Catch them while you can
My favorite row of cherry trees has bloomed on Bleecker and Mercer Streets.
These photos don't do them justice - they really are spectacular and should be viewed in person. But hurry, I give them another week at the most before the pink petals are replaced with green leaves.
