Things that make me go hmmm...

I'm not often bored, but on those rare occasions when I am, all have to do is walk outside and be instantly (and easily) amused.  Let's take a little walk and see what we find...

A lady taking a rest.

A non-stationary table.

Gnomes, of course.

A little old couple shopping for antiques.

Local wildlife.

A lamb cake smoking a cigarette, perfect for that special occasion.

  1. that sneaker table is the coolest thing ever.

  2. The bus fare collector on top cracks me up for some reason.

  3. The lamb-with-cigarette cake: screaming!

    All hilarious. Nicely done.

  4. I love the skeletons with the paintings.

And by the way, your recent analysis on the drinking photo was really well put. It sparked an interesting conversation, but in the end was still the most insightful of them all.

  5. Thanks, Jill. I liked your comment, too. It's definitely a new and different generation - one that maybe hasn't had to work for the things they have and, therefore, place no value on their surroundings or have no respect for others who have worked hard to create the world in which they live. I know I'm generalizing and everyone is not that way, but that seems to be the attitude of the throngs of screamers and woooooo-ers we see on the weekends. I live above a restaurant with garden seating and I hear the screaming on a daily basis. Who *screams* at dinner? It's not mere loud laughter or singing or elevated talking, it's SCREAMING. Every night, by supposed adults.
