All three Tompkins Square red-tailed hawk chicks have now fledged and are practicing their flying skills within the park. Parents Amelia and Christo are keeping close watch over them and will continue to care for them over the next several weeks. Below are some highlights from the last couple of days.

Fledgling #1 watches as mom Amelia enjoys a rat dinner.
The fledgling was already fed, so Amelia had this meal all to herself, but she hung out with her kid as she ate.
Mom and offspring:
