Party of five

It's getting hot and crowded up on the Christodora hawk nest.  At just over three weeks old, the young hawks are growing up fast.

As you can see, there's not much room to stretch out.

Not much stretching room...

Look at me, Dad!

Look, Dad, wings!

Christo is getting the hang of this feed-the-kids thing...

And Dora keeps a good house, adding fresh greenery and regularly clearing away left-overs.

  2. Thanks for your photos! I have been following the NYU babies.. and they have a nice 'runway' to practice take offs and landings... what will happen with these? I guess they just - GO - and hope for the best!

  3. I'm hoping they land on either the rooftops across the street or the trees in the park. Until then, they seem to be taking turns jumping up and down.
